First Visit
Your first visit to Chiroexcellence clinic:
For each new patient the first visit starts with a case history.Following this discussion, if we judge that you are not a Chiropractic case, you will be referred to another specialist. On the other hand, if we feel that your case may be helped by chiropractic care, a complete examination will be done.
A complete review will follow. It comprises 4 parts:
- Chiropractic examination, which determines the exact location of irritation and nerve interference.
- Computer-assisted examination using a state-of-the-art tool.
- Neurological examination, which determines the severity of this irritation and its consequences.
- The Orthopaedic Examination, which determines the integrity of the spine and its degree of function and flexibility.
X-rays
Then, if the case so requires, X-rays will be taken on site to determine the presence or absence of fractures, pathological lesions, osteoarthritis, deviations, and structural imbalances. Finally, X-rays are also useful for establishing a care plan because it tells us the chronicity and exact condition of the spine. If it becomes necessary to obtain more accurate images, then we will refer you for a “SCAN” or Magnetic Resonance, externally.
The diagnosis
Following the analysis of the results of the examinations, an accurate diagnosis is then decided for each case.
The Treatment Plan
A treatment plan is then established for each case. This plan of care usually includes appropriate treatments, exercises and ergonomic and nutritional advice.
The Report to the patient
Each patient receives an individual report describing their results, the treatment plan and the exercises. This report also contains a description of the fees for adjustments and subsequent reviews.
